Canning helps you preserve your fruits and veggies. Therefore, no need to worry if you have extra fruits and veggies that are about to spoil - just can them, and they will stay fresh longer.
How To Get The ingredients for Canning?
Option 1: Grow and harvest the fruits and vegetables straight from your Sim's garden.
Option 2: Purchase fruits and vegetables from the Grocery Stall or the Flower Stall in Finchwick.
Option 3: Place an order for the ingredients to be delivered straight to your doorstep using your phone, computer, or fridge.
Option 4: Go around Henford-on-Bagley, and you might get lucky by finding enough ingredients to start canning.
How To Begin Canning?
Click on any oven or stove-top, and pick the canning option. Your Sims can then make any of the various recipes available. But if they have the Simple Living lot challenge, they will be required to have all the ingredients needed before proceeding with Canning.
What To Do With Your Canned Products?
Eat them or sell them... some of them yield more than the others... kaching! Be mindful of what you eat, though - not all buffs make your Sims happy.
