Reminder
Please note that it is a must to keep your downloads updated. New patches and updates for The Sims 4 may or may not cause your downloads to stop working. Most creators update their files immediately, all we have to do is redownload. I will keep a lookout for updates, and update this page as well.
Installing Custom Content and Mods
Step 1: Every mod/custom content should be placed in My Document>Electronic Arts>The Sims 4> Mods
Step 2: If the cc/mod you download is in .package format, you can place it anywhere you want in the Mods folder. If it is a SCRIPT mod, you cannot place it inside a sub-sub folder. If it's a ZIP file, first unzip it and follow the instructions above.
Step 3. Enable cc in-game. If you're using script mods, also enable script mods in-game
Installing Sims and lots
Step 1: Every mod/custom content should be placed in My Document>Electronic Arts>The Sims 4>Tray
Step 2: If it's a ZIP file, first unzip it and follow the instructions above.
Step 3. Enable cc in-game. If you're using script mods, also enable script mods in-game
Step 4. Go to your Sims 4 Gallery in the game, and look for your Sims or the lots you had just installed. If you cannot find them, you might need to enable your custom content in the gallery.
NOTE: After each patch, the game will automatically disable custom contents; you have to enable it
in-game again.

Description
Children and Teens can collect an allowance. The amounts they receive vary, and it is based on several factors: good grades and good conduct are a few. Originally, this mod was created by Scarlet. LMS chose to adopt this mod and has also made a few changes to it.

Thoughts
A mod that adds some realism to my game is a huge gameplay improvement for me, and the allowance mod does just that. The amount that the sim kids have accumulated through their youth may not be large, but it does help most especially when it is time to pay the bills.

I cannot play Sims 4 without this mod. This is one of the best mods out there and I would not dream of going back to primitive gameplay. The death of a Sim has more meaning now, unlike back then when all I had was an urn or a tombstone, and nothing else.

I have the Patreon version installed in my game and I can happily say that I am delighted that my Sims do get sick. I had no clue that some were allergic to almost everything under the sun! I enjoy it when it's time for them to take their meds that I even have a schedule of who and when need to take their next pill.

Description

Original Description (edited to merge in newest features info): Your sims (teen and up) can now apply for loans from SimCity Bank. When your sim needs a loan have them click on the computer and select SimCity Loans. From there you will select which loan amount you want.

Before I discovered this mod, I relied on the motherlode cheat for my Sims to have money all the time. But I hated that I had to cheat; it made my gameplay pointless. I always felt that my game lacked so much, and there was never any consequence if my Sims had less than 20 thousand or none at all. For the longest time, I chose to play with jobless Sims because like I said, it did not really make much of a difference. But the Sim City Loans mod adds some realism to my game, and now that I have it installed, I pay close attention to how much money my Sims have. I make sure that my Sims have enough money in their household and also in their bank accounts. That way, I am never late for my next payment. Otherwise, my Sims get charged for late payment. Talk about consequences!
07. Sim National Bank
Description
What this mod intends to do ultimately, is create an extensive financial/banking system similar to what we humans have in real life. With our final feature added, we hope to add/boost your storylines in-game or even play out any financial situations that are limited only to your imagination.

08. Sim National Bank Bills
Description
This SNB add-on will revamp EA’s billing system by splitting out Water & Sewer, Electricity, Trash, Cable, Internet, Cellphone, and Property Taxes; each bill creating an adverse effect if not paid. This mod also adds in Government Benefits and Services that enforce Child Support and Alimony and provide a basic Welfare system called Wel-Fund 4 Families.

I have never enjoyed paying for my bills until I got this mod. It shows me what I pay for and it also informs me when my bill payment is due, and that helps my Sims prepare.
09. SNBank Financial Center
Description
The Financial Center is an adjacent mod of SNBank that brings a physical bank to the game. Your Sims will now be able to access SNB options, and more, in-person. This keeps to that off-the-grid option where you don't need to use your Sim's cellphone for every SNB service. This mod will also usher in SimRealist Credit options we have planned for later this year.

Account Manager, Bank Teller, Loan Officer, open an account, apply for an SNB loan, make loan payments... tempting? Oh, and you can also buy shares!
I love it when my Sims get a call from the loan officer reminding them of their bank agreement. Then I make my Sim travel to the bank, then they head on to the teller to pay a portion of their loan.
Sounds good? It really does!

These and all the other custom foods I have in my game have really improved my gameplay. I enjoy going through my Sim's fridge, and pantry - just like in real life, the dishes cooked are based on what ingredients are available.
